About
As I boarded the small plane in Kampala, Uganda, I felt a rush of excitement. I was about to embark on an unforgettable journey across East Africa, soaring above the breathtaking landscapes, majestic mountains, and vibrant cities.
Â
Day 1: Kampala to Kigali
Â
The plane took off, and I gazed out the window at the sprawling city below. We flew over Lake Victoria, the world's second-largest freshwater lake, and the Rwenzori Mountains, their rugged peaks reaching for the sky. We landed in Kigali, Rwanda's capital, and I checked into the Kigali Serena Hotel.

Â
We flew to Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa's most renowned wildlife destinations. From the plane, I saw the endless plains teeming with life – antelopes, zebras, and lions. We landed at Keekorok Lodge, my home for the night.
Â
Day 4: Maasai Mara to Amboseli
Â
The next morning, we flew to Amboseli National Park, with Mount Kilimanjaro's majestic peak rising in the distance. We spotted elephant herds roaming the plains below. I checked into Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.
