About

As I boarded the small plane in Kampala, Uganda, I felt a rush of excitement. I was about to embark on an unforgettable journey across East Africa, soaring above the breathtaking landscapes, majestic mountains, and vibrant cities.

Day 1: Kampala to Kigali

The plane took off, and I gazed out the window at the sprawling city below. We flew over Lake Victoria, the world's second-largest freshwater lake, and the Rwenzori Mountains, their rugged peaks reaching for the sky. We landed in Kigali, Rwanda's capital, and I checked into the Kigali Serena Hotel.

Day 2: Kigali to Nairobi

The next morning, we flew to Nairobi, Kenya's bustling capital. From the air, I spotted Lake Nakuru's vibrant pink flamingos and the Aberdare Mountains' lush forests. We landed in Nairobi, and I settled into the Nairobi Serena Hotel.

Day 3: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

We flew to Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa's most renowned wildlife destinations. From the plane, I saw the endless plains teeming with life – antelopes, zebras, and lions. We landed at Keekorok Lodge, my home for the night.

Day 4: Maasai Mara to Amboseli

The next morning, we flew to Amboseli National Park, with Mount Kilimanjaro's majestic peak rising in the distance. We spotted elephant herds roaming the plains below. I checked into Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 5: Amboseli to Arusha

We flew to Arusha, Tanzania, with breathtaking views of Mount Meru and Lake Manyara. I settled into Arusha Serena Hotel.

Day 6: Arusha to Serengeti

The next morning, we flew to Serengeti National Park, witnessing the Great Migration from above. The endless plains stretched out before us, teeming with wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. We landed at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

We flew to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with stunning views of the crater below. We spotted wildlife roaming the crater's floor. I checked into Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 8: Ngorongoro to Zanzibar

The next morning, we flew to Zanzibar Island, with the turquoise Indian Ocean unfolding below. We landed in Stone Town, and I settled into Zanzibar Serena Hotel.

Day 9: Zanzibar Island

I spent the day relaxing on the beach, exploring Stone Town's narrow alleys, and soaking up the island's laid-back atmosphere.

Day 10: Departure

As I boarded the plane to return to Kampala, I felt grateful for the unforgettable aerial adventure. East Africa's breathtaking beauty had left me in awe.
